Holding an HND in Building Engineering and an MEng in Building Services and Energy Engineering, Alan is, one of the only solar company directors in Northern Ireland with a Masters in Renewable Energy from Ulster University.He founded AGD after identifying a gap in the market for professionally designed, bespoke renewable energy systems built to the highest standards. His first renewable project was in 2008, and since then, he has specialised in delivering tailored, nonoff-the-shelf solutions that combine technical excellence with reliable performance.

Ivan is a highly skilled electrical engineer with more than 30 years experience in design, problem-solving, and automation fault finding, including marine applications. He is qualified to City Guilds standards in Electrical Installation, Inspection, and Testing, as well as EAL Level 3 in the installation of small-scale solar PV systems.With three decades of experience designing mechanical and electrical semi-automated systems internationally, Ivan brings an exceptional depth of technical expertise and practical insight to AGDs projects.

Noel combines strong academic and practical expertise, holding a BEng (Hons) in Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Management Practices. His career spans over 20 years in industrial electrical design and automation fault finding, with 10 years as an Electrical Technical Officer specialising in fast craft and Ro/Ro passenger ferries.In addition, Noel has 6 years specialist experience in software programming and automation fault diagnostics. At AGD, he plays a key role in ensuring projects are technically robust, efficient, and built with long-term reliability in mind.
